We held our official first off-site meeting last Thursday, seamlessly led by Dennis and “zoomed” by Ann. Ben shared a great inspiration tributing our firefighters, and Janet’s Rotary Minute was about Rotary’s “5 Avenues of Service.” Our Rotary Trivia expert, Lisse, recited the history of how “The Bell” became part of Rotary meetings. Diane gave the background on the tree planting project that occurred during her year as President, and we took a stroll and saw the trees planted 3 years ago. (See the slideshow below.)

Announcements included an update from our Fundraising Committee who has been hard at work. “Drive through Cioppino” is scheduled for 1/30/2021 at the Moose Lodge. Details to follow here on the website and Facebook, but please put it on your calendar.

We missed you Miles, Eugene, Belinda, Lu, Sandie, Juan, Jim and Ron. LB, Lis, Everett and Lisse “zoomed” in.

As we enter September, our thoughts turn to Basic Education and Literacy Month. Stand by for more details.
